1st Impulse Forum “Digital Energy Transition”

On 29 April, the 1st Impulse Forum “Digital Energy Transition” took place in Berlin, Germany. The event brought together key stakeholders in the energy sector to lay the foundation for a new standardisation committee titled “All Electric Society: platform for cross-sector data ecosystems”. The forum also served as a platform for direct exchange and knowledge transfer within the energy expert community, with a strong focus on digitalisation and integration across sectors.
The hybrid-format event welcomed approximately 70 participants, including professionals from industry, academia, and policymakers. The morning sessions featured engaging presentations and keynote speeches addressing the future of digital energy systems. In the afternoon, attendees participated in an interactive workshop focused on the vision of the “All Electric Society.” This session marked a major step toward establishing the new standardisation committee by discussing its objectives and gathering initial inputs from the expert community.
Ludwig Karg from int:net project showcased a slide introducing its sister project, InterSTORE. In addition, printed InterSTORE flyers were distributed to raise awareness and promote the project.
The forum offered valuable networking opportunities and enabled deep engagement with stakeholders interested in digital energy solutions. The workshop generated strong interest, resulting in numerous applications to join the forthcoming standardisation committee. For the InterSTORE project, the event helped build visibility and foster connections with like-minded initiatives.
