Internal workshop: Using and configuring InterSTORE Legacy Systems Protocol Converter
In May the partners of Work Package 2 “Open-source Interoperability Toolkit” organised an internal workshop on how to use and configure InterSTORE Legacy Systems Protocol Converter (LPC). The goal of this internal workshop was to provide detailed instructions to the project partners on setting up, configuring, deploying, and running the Legacy Protocol Converter. The session aimed to equip participants with the necessary knowledge and skills to effectively utilise the LPC in their respective projects.
The following aspects were covered during the workshop:
Setup of LPC: Sunesis partners demonstrated the initial setup process for the Legacy Protocol Converter.
Defining Connections and Transformations: Participants learned how to define connections and transformations between different protocols such as Modbus, MQTT, and IEEE2030.5 using NATS.
Deployment Methods: Various deployment methods were showcased, including Docker-based deployment, using a JAR executable, and custom builds of the software.
This hands-on workshop ensured that all participants were well-versed in the practical application of the LPC in real-world scenarios.
